Terms of Service
Short, fair, readable. These terms apply to every project unless your quote says otherwise.
1. Services
Meraki Studio — Web Design Crete designs, builds and maintains websites and related digital services for businesses. The exact scope, price and delivery date of each project are set out in the written quote you approve before work starts.
2. Quotes and payment
Quotes are valid for 30 days. Projects start with a 40% deposit; the balance is due at launch. Prices are quoted excluding VAT unless stated otherwise. The online price builder gives an estimate — the binding price is the one in your written quote.
3. Delivery and guarantee
7-day delivery or your deposit back. Love the design or we revise it free. The 7-day timeline runs in working days from the date we receive your approved content and deposit; larger custom projects get a written date up front. Delays caused by missing client content pause the timeline.
4. Your content and responsibilities
You confirm you hold the rights to all text, photos, logos and other material you supply, and that the information you ask us to publish (including legally required company details) is accurate. You remain responsible for your business's own legal compliance (e.g. GEMI disclosure, VAT, licensing).
5. Intellectual property
On full payment, ownership of the delivered website design and content we created for you transfers to you. We may showcase the finished work in our portfolio and marketing unless you ask us not to. Third-party tools and licences (fonts, stock photos, plugins, hosting) remain under their own terms.
6. Hosting, care plans and third parties
Hosting, domains and email run on third-party platforms (e.g. Google Firebase, domain registrars). We set them up and manage them under an active care plan, but their availability is governed by the providers' own service terms. Care plans renew monthly and can be cancelled with 30 days' notice.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to a project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, or for content and information supplied by you.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by Greek law. Any dispute is subject to the courts of Chania, Greece. Last updated: July 2026.
